Welcome
Dear Participants,
It is my pleasure to welcome all of you as SEASAC member schools to the to the 2018 SEASAC Basketball Championships hosted by NIST International School! It is going to be a fantastic weekend. We are particularly excited, as this is the 22nd anniversary year of SEASAC, and no one would have imagined that just over two decades ago our community would grow to this size. There are 120 players and ten schools involved in this event alone. I am very proud that NIST has been invited to host the championships this year and am confident it will be a resounding success. As an educator, I think one of the best parts of this event is that while you are competing and having fun on the court, you will also be learning incredibly important life skills that will serve you well beyond the competition itself. This is why it is a great privilege for NIST to host a tournament of this caliber. I hope that you will make some new friends, develop stronger bonds with your own teammates and, in some cases, renew some old acquaintances. Above all, though, we hope you have fun!
Good luck!
