Rules of play – All F.I.B.A. rules and regulations are in force with the following SEASAC variations.
1. Number of participants
3. 24-second shot clocks will be used, and must be provided by the host school.
4. There will be 1 timeout per quarter per team except for the 4th quarter where 2 time outs will be awarded.
5. When a game is tied at the end of regulation time, there will be a two-minute break followed by a three-minute overtime period beginning with a jump ball. If the game is still tied after the overtime period, additional two minute breaks and three-minute overtime periods (each ensuing three-minute period beginning with a jump-ball) will continue until there is a clear winner.

- maximum of 12 players are allowed to participate.

- Girls: regulation women’s ball size 6
- Boys: regulation men’s ball size 7
- head to head competition result
- defensive average against tied teams
- defensive average against all teams
- team with fewest technical fouls
- once a tie break has resolved additional ties will be resolved in the same format using the same sequence of procedures beginning with the head to head result
